Weekends@West: Nike Air Max 270 Futura "Blue Heron / Total Orange"

The Nike Air Max 270 was an immediate success when it first released this past Spring. The Swoosh looks to build and capitalize on that popularity with another all new model, the Air Max 270 Futura. Billed as a 90s-inspired version of the 270, the Futura features the hallmark, giant airbag from that pair. The heel and tongue pull tabs as well as the lines and styling of the upper offer a callback to the Nike Triax 97, while the use of mesh and nubuck for materials provides another nod to that era of design. "Blue Heron" brings plenty of contrast against white and the "Total Orange" colored airbag spices things up even more.
