1998 brought us the Air Max Plus, with its Tuned Air cushioning and wild, drippy design. 2017 saw the release of VaporMax technology, and 2018 offers a marriage of a coveted, heritage model with modern, cutting-edge technology in the form of the Nike Air VaporMax Plus. 

In short, Beaverton took the classic, streetwear silhouette of the Air Max Plus for the upper and then slapped their hottest cushioning system on the outsole in the form of a full-length VaporMax unit. Done up in a classic combo of "Photo Blue" and "Obsidian," this is a pair that is sure to turn heads, and yet another must-have for any collector or fan of the Swoosh. Nike also remixed their Tuned Air branding, visible on this pair's heel and insole, to reflect the use of VaporMax technology and provide a nod to the original Tuned Air logo.
