adidas LXCON
As seen with the Yeezy 700s and 500s, as well as the more recent release of the Nite Jogger, adidas has found a lot of success with bulkier, 90s-inspired running shoes. Their hot streak in this department continues with the new LXCON runner, releasing February 2nd in two different colorways: "Cloud White/Active Blue/Core Black" and "Clear Brown/Active Purple/Shock Red." Inspired by a classic pair of running shoes from 1994, the Adiprene cushioning and the piping throughout the lacing system of the LXCON provides a fresh take on a vintage look. While the White/Blue/Black colorway has strong aesthetic ties to 90s models, the earthy tones and pops of vibrant color on the Brown/Purple/Red offering presents a look just as well-suited for dressing up as it is for getting cozy.
The adidas LXCON is currently available in "Cloud White/Active Blue/Core Black" and "Clear Brown/Active Purple/Shock Red" at WEST NYC, located at 147 West 72nd Street between Amsterdam and Columbus on the Upper West Side. Pairs will be made available for online order on Saturday, February 2nd.
