Weekends At West: White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Superstar & solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 EVR "Pink Devil"

Two times the collaborative fun this weekend with some farm-to-table-fresh joint ventures ripe for the pickin'.

White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Superstar

First up, two pairs of the classic Superstar silhouette from adidas Originals in the modern-minimalist aesthetic and quality materials we've come to know and expect from Japan-based White Mountaineering. Both pairs feature energy-returning Boost cushioning in the midfoot and varying shades of heathered-grey as the dominant color on the upper. And of course, it wouldn't be a Superstar without the shell toe. Each pair has the same design and layout, however the darker grey sports a nearly-monochromatic look while the lighter version pops with quite a bit more color, somewhat reminiscent of a Mondrian painting.

Germany's solebox and Lexington, Mass' own Saucony have rekindled their romance just in time for Valentine's Day. Sporting bright pink around the toe box and gradually fading to black, the knit-upper on 2018s "Pink Devil" is a play on the "Grey Devil" originally released by these two brands in 2012. From a materials perspective, this is an upgrade to the lineage given the use of Saucony's knit technology and EVERUN cushioning for added flexibility and support.

All three of these pairs are available in store at 147 W 72nd ST in Manhattan on the UWS or online via the links provided below:
